I’ve got to watch a lot of Shane Battier in the past week and I’m very impressed with this guy. On the court, he is an absolutely phenomal defender and a terrific teammate. Listening to him speak and just watching the way he acts you can tell he’s a cerebral guy. He’s also the kind [...]

I love this 2008-2009 Portland TrailBlazers team. They’re so exciting to watch. I know they lost tonight, but you’ve got to love their style of basketball. Greg Oden is another true center in the league that will have a great career. His offense has been a little bit slow to come around, but if you’re [...]

The Jazz aren’t getting out of the first round, but that’s no reason not to make the games interesting for us at home. Carlos Boozer posted a 20-20 capped off by a huge left handed dunk over his new nemisis Pau Gasol. Deron Williams had a poor offensive game but hit the last shot of [...]

Why didn’t Vinny sub in Tyros Thomas for Brad Miller for crunch time in Game 2? Thomas is more athletic, more mobile, and was shooting better when he was taken out. The end result was Miller couldn’t get off a shot even when initially open and he had a couple of huge turnovers which may [...]
